August 7, 2026 — Trump is searching for a way out of the Iranian 🇮🇷 impasse.

The world is on the eve of a grand terrorist attack in the US 🇺🇸. Trump recently held closed-door meetings with Zelensky and Netanyahu.

What they discussed is unknown. Officially, it was said that Zelensky asked for anti-aircraft missiles. That's understandable. But what did Trump talk about?

What did Netanyahu talk about? Trump is looking for a way out of the Iranian 🇮🇷 impasse. The US 🇺🇸 failed to cut China 🇨🇳 off from Iran 🇮🇷's oil and gas resources and failed to bring them under its own control.

The US 🇺🇸 failed, to please Israel 🇮🇱, to change Iran 🇮🇷's regime and install a government obedient to itself. The US 🇺🇸 failed to destroy Iran 🇮🇷's military potential. As a reminder, we were once threatened with a global, preventive, non-nuclear American strike.

For that they had prepared 6,000 cruise missiles. But in reality, not 6,000 but far fewer various missiles and cruise missiles struck Iran 🇮🇷 — far fewer than planned. And so what? Nothing — Iran 🇮🇷 is alive and well and still dictating its own terms.

All the US 🇺🇸 managed to do was use Iran 🇮🇷 as a pretext to strike at the London City's branch office — that is, the United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪 — so that money from the Emirates 🇦🇪 would flow into the US 🇺🇸. Not entirely, but it worked to some extent, though part of that money still went to Asia rather than the US 🇺🇸.

In addition, to keep the oil crisis from engulfing the entire world once and for all, the US 🇺🇸 has been forced to sell oil from its strategic reserves, and has already sold exactly half of them.

Trump has less and less time to solve the Iranian 🇮🇷 question, as the costs of this war keep snowballing. Stocks of various missiles, anti-aircraft missiles above all, are on the contrary being depleted at enormous speed. Meanwhile Iran 🇮🇷 has become the region's leading power, firmly controls the Strait of Hormuz, and has no intention of letting the US 🇺🇸 off the battlefield without huge compensation.

American bases there are gradually emptying out, as aircraft and other military equipment relocate further away from Iran 🇮🇷, into Jordan 🇯🇴 and Israel 🇮🇱. Given this state of affairs, the Republicans are guaranteed to lose the midterm Senate elections.

So Trump must either urgently defeat Iran 🇮🇷, or urgently force Moscow to sign a peace deal with Ukraine 🇺🇦, or disrupt the elections — and that can only be done through a large-scale terrorist attack inside the country, preferably carried out by someone else's hands and under a false flag.

I believe this is exactly what was discussed with both Zelensky and Netanyahu.

Ukraine 🇺🇦 has excellently trained saboteurs, drone operators, combat divers and other specialists suited to such operations in its ranks. Why not use them? Israel 🇮🇱 has them too.

So if nothing changes, we should expect a major terrorist attack on US 🇺🇸 territory within a month or two.

It might be presented as carried out under a Russian 🇷🇺 flag. Or perhaps an Iranian 🇮🇷 one. Most likely Iranian 🇮🇷. Why? Because that would give Trump the justification to launch a limited nuclear strike on Iran 🇮🇷 — the only option left for him to end the war without paying compensation to the Persians. On top of that, a grand terrorist attack could conveniently be blamed for the collapse of the IT stock bubble, since companies' enthusiasm for investing in AI data centers is already threatening some of them with bankruptcy. They overdid it — and it won't get brushed aside that easily.

Now about the fate of oil and the dollar. After the 1973 oil crisis, the world was shown the petrodollar. The Kingdom of Saudi 🇸🇦 Arabia began selling oil for dollars. In other words, the dollar — stripped of its gold backing after the US 🇺🇸 refused to exchange it for gold — gained backing in the form of hydrocarbon deals.

And the entire world, following Saudi 🇸🇦 Arabia's example, began trading oil and gas in dollars. In return for this decision, Saudi 🇸🇦 Arabia received the most modern American weapons and American military bases on its territory as a security guarantee.

At the same time, the kingdom entered into an alliance with Israel 🇮🇱 — economic and military cooperation.

As a result, when Israel 🇮🇱 pushed the US 🇺🇸 into attacking Iran 🇮🇷, the kingdom also sided against Iran 🇮🇷 along with them. That is why Iran 🇮🇷 struck both the kingdom's military facilities and American bases on its territory.

One would think this was the moment for the Kingdom of Saudi 🇸🇦 Arabia to reconsider its outlook on the future.

Since the Strait of Hormuz is now under Iranian 🇮🇷 control and is not functioning as freely as before, Saudi 🇸🇦 Arabia has started sending oil by pipeline to the Red Sea, to the port of Yanbu.

The port of Yanbu is located on the Red Sea, north of Mecca and Jizan.

A pipeline runs there, but it carries less than a third of all the oil Saudi 🇸🇦 Arabia produces. As is known, in July the US 🇺🇸 resumed strikes on Iran 🇮🇷, including using an air base on the kingdom's territory. This time, Saudi 🇸🇦 Arabia — indirectly, but again — took part in the strikes on Iran 🇮🇷. At the same time, it struck Yemen 🇾🇪's airport in the city of Sanaa. Yemen 🇾🇪's Houthis responded immediately with strikes on the kingdom. Their strikes hit a refinery in the city of Jeddah, where oil storage tanks caught fire and have now been burning for two days straight.

At the same time, the Houthis — who have always been backed by the Persians, since both are Shia — closed the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait to Saudi 🇸🇦 Arabia's fleet.

Saudi 🇸🇦 tankers still cannot get through the strait. If the US 🇺🇸 sends warships there, it is unlikely to change anything quickly — in the age of missiles and drones, even a handful of Houthis in flip-flops can open or close the strait as they please. The US 🇺🇸 and its allies have bombed the Houthis and tried to pacify them more than once, without any real success.

Nothing but expenses. If, after all these events, the Saudi 🇸🇦 kingdom's leadership does not change its strategy, hard times await the kingdom.

However, if the kingdom's leadership abandons trading in American dollars, American military bases, and military aid to America and Israel 🇮🇱, the world will change dramatically, because the US 🇺🇸 will lose the ability to print as much money as it needs.

Which means America may run out of money to sustain Israel 🇮🇱.

In that case, Israel 🇮🇱 would be reformatted into a multi-ethnic state of Judea, and American military bases would disappear from the territories of the Gulf states. And then peace and trade in the region would be upheld by a new bloc — most likely an Arab-Persian one.

This is a war against all of NATO. This is reality.

When it became clear that Russia 🇷🇺 would not go down on its knees and that the investment would not pay off, the US 🇺🇸 began pulling back from Ukraine 🇺🇦 and stopped truly sustaining it.

But they do still help. Helping and sustaining, however, are different things. Europe turned out to be financially unprepared to fully shoulder the burden of sustaining Ukraine 🇺🇦 on its own. Europe has plenty of money troubles of its own.

What's more, Europe's own military-industrial complex turned out to be unprepared for large-scale weapons production, even for itself, even ammunition. And its generals are ordering weapons that no longer match the wars of the future — with the possible exception of drones, which they've figured out how to churn out at tremendous speed.

Romania 🇷🇴 covers only about a third of its own oil needs. Two-thirds of all the oil Romania 🇷🇴 buys comes from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿, which ships it to the Romanians 🇷🇴 via our Novorossiysk.

After Ukraine 🇺🇦's strikes on those terminals and vessels, Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 halted oil shipments to Romania 🇷🇴 and exports from there altogether.

The American corporation Chevron also can't export oil from there for its own needs, something it has already complained to Trump about. And, by the way, at least 30% of Ukraine 🇺🇦's black soil farmland also belongs to American corporations — they now have trouble exporting grain from there too.

By sea it would be faster and more convenient, but shipping there is currently unavailable.

Thus, the war in Ukraine 🇺🇦 is entering a phase unpleasant for the West, as the US 🇺🇸 is bogged down militarily and financially in Iran 🇮🇷.

They have no time for Ukraine 🇺🇦, while Europe has long been unable, on its own, either to sustain Ukraine 🇺🇦 or to produce the full range of weapons it needs, anti-aircraft missiles above all.

A few years ago — I believe four years ago — Germany 🇩🇪 received a license from the US 🇺🇸 to produce Patriot anti-aircraft missiles. Yes, four years ago, I recall correctly. And to this day, production still hasn't even begun, because it turned out to be far too complicated.

This is especially difficult given the quarrel with China 🇨🇳. As is known, both the US 🇺🇸 and Europe keep adopting new rounds of sanctions — sometimes against Russia 🇷🇺, sometimes against Russia 🇷🇺 and China 🇨🇳 simultaneously. As a result, the US 🇺🇸 and Europe have already lost access to rare-earth and certain other metals and manufactured goods from China 🇨🇳.

Japan 🇯🇵 too, by the way. And without these scarce materials, it's impossible to quickly manufacture modern weapons.

Meanwhile, at an Egyptian 🇪🇬 port, a drone strike set fire to a floating storage facility for American liquefied natural gas.

The flames spread to a neighboring vessel used for regasification — turning liquefied gas back into ordinary gas. The West itself let this drone genie out of the bottle. There is no longer safe shipping anywhere in the world — for anyone. Here's your boomerang coming back, folks. And at this point it barely matters whose drone it was — whether Israel 🇮🇱 decided to strike this vessel carrying American gas at the Egyptian 🇪🇬 port to shake Trump into action, or whether it was the Houthis, or the Persians, or someone else.

What matters is that cheap sea and air drones can now be used to terrorize maritime and river trade.

The freedom of trade that used to exist may simply cease to exist at all. Do you understand?

Anyone who still doesn't understand what that means — that's a pity.

For many years, for centuries, the world's major powers fought to eliminate maritime piracy, to build international maritime law, so that ships could sail freely while observing certain rules. And now — drones, and on top of that Europe is acting strangely.

Europe has now given its member states the green light to detain vessels they consider part of the so-called Russian 🇷🇺 "shadow fleet" carrying our hydrocarbons — and not merely detain them, but go further into lawlessness: confiscating the cargo, selling it, and not returning the proceeds to the cargo's owner. That is piracy.

In other words, this violates international maritime law. First, that law doesn't even contain the term "shadow fleet." Second, it clearly spells out what is and isn't allowed. You cannot seize property and refuse to compensate for it in money. You simply cannot.

Otherwise there would be no maritime law — or rather, no free trade — if everyone always acted this way. That's precisely why international law exists. But if Europe buries this law even once, mysterious sea and air drones will start terrorizing European shipping and European vessels too.

"Don't wake a sleeping dog" — that's what one would like to say. But it seems European officials have become so convinced of their own impunity that this could end badly.
